The Job is described as:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Senior Manager of Installation Services with the management of all phases of retail fixture and millwork installations nationwide for a Philadelphia based retail manufacturing and project management company.
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Schedule projects and installations within the timeframe required by the customer.
  • Schedule all warranty and punch list work.
  • Manage installation contractors to ensure all work is of the highest professional workmanship and is completed on time; this is an ongoing responsibility and includes training crews for the assembly and installation of new millwork fixtures.
  • Interact with the Client Store Planning Group and Client Construction Managers and GC’s to resolve issues regarding design, engineering, and construction. Interaction will require regular job site visits.
  • Support all internal operation departments with regard to technical issues and problem solving, particularly the manufacturing departments.
  • Determine and implement client install requests on site and otherwise.Experience:
  • Experience in managing crews
  • Excellent measurement and problem correction skills.
  • Extensive experience with customers/end user-communication skills when dealing directly with customers.
  • Above average computer skills, primarily advanced excel and outlook/email (much communications will be through email with install partners and Client Project Managers.
  • Previous retail store fixture experience preferred, particularly in on site supervision and production/project management.

  • Ability to read and understand fixture manufacturing drawings.

Minimum Experience:

  • BA/BS preferred but not required
  • 2 years’ experience as a coordinator or project manager in construction
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Basecamp, Excel, Outlook, Access, MS Project etc..
